Yan Chen

Yan completed her MSc in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Leeds in 2021. Her masters project investigated the engineering of laser glass for tissue surgery and imaging diagnostics. Currently, Yan is undertaking her PhD under the supervision of Professor David Lidzey to develop strong coupling and lasing in organic and perovskite microcavities.

In her spare time, Yan enjoys drawing, reading and playing the piano.
