MirKazem Omrani

MirKazem graduated with his master's degree in Photonics-Physics from the University of Isfahan in 2020 and joined the FMED group at UCL as a visiting researcher working on improving the performance of emerging solar cells by engineering the structure of devices and employing plasmonic nanoparticles. In 2023, MirKazem moved to Sheffield and is now undertaking his PhD under the supervision of Prof. David Lidzey, closely working with Ossila Ltd to develop scalable slot-die coater for coating perovskite solar cells

In his free time, MirKazem enjoys watching movies, playing golf, and spending time in nature.
